Vision for Education Ltd is seeking enthusiastic graduates or undergraduates to join as Cover Supervisors across Essex schools. You will support classroom learning, manage behaviour, and maintain accurate registers, serving as a bridge to the lead teacher.

Flexible full-time or part-time hours are available, with opportunities to gain experience ahead of teacher training. While childcare experience is helpful, it is not essential.

Are you a recent Graduate, Current undergrad, Sports Coach or have experience in a childcare setting, considering a future career within education and teaching?

We work in partnership with High Schools across all of Essex, providing them staff for all their needs. We've found that recent graduates or even undergrads get along brilliantly and are top of the list for most of our schools for staffing.

It is your role as a Cover Supervisor to encourage the classes learning, manage student behaviour, record accurate registers, and provide a handover to the absent teacher. Successful Graduate Cover Supervisors are adaptable, flexible, motivated, confident, and organised, they have a passion for education and supporting young people. You'll not be expected to be a subejct expert on any topic, just providing a postiive learning environment for all students to acheive the tasks set is key.

A Cover Supervisor will have the opportunity to work on a flexible schedule, either full-time or part-time. We work closely with Schools, Colleges and Multi-Academy Trusts across all of Essex and will provid eyou work in the areas that suit you best.

This role provides a great opportunity to gain experience of working within a Secondary school prior to applying to Initial Teacher Training. With many of our schools being part of a training consortium, it's a huge head start for the short-listing process!

Although previous experience of working in childcare desirable, it is not essential.

If you are new to the Cover Supervisor role, you will be offered a comprehensive Cover Supervisor Training Programme to equip you will the skills you need.

The desired Cover Supervisor will have:

• A degree, or experience working with young people or a willingness to learn.
• Leadership skills and confidence to lead a classroom of up to 30 students.
• A passion for education and providing the highest possible level of support to young people.
• Flexibility in their schedule and adaptability to teach at multiple schools.
