Job summary

Philosophy Education, Ltd. is seeking Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Enfield and surrounding London areas. You will cover classes, keep students engaged with tasks, and provide reliable support to teaching staff on a flexible short-term basis.

No formal qualifications are required, but experience with 11–18-year-olds and an Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) are needed. Typical shifts run full days, with references requested from the past two years.

Qualifications

• Experience working with 11–18-year-olds.
• DBS certificate required or willing to obtain one.
• 2 references from past two years.

Responsibilities

• Cover classes and ensure students are working on tasks.
• Support teachers during absence or meetings.
• Manage classroom and student behavior for the full school day (08:15–15:00).
