Job summary

Philosophy Education is seeking Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across London on short-term, daily supply and longer contracts. You will cover classes, ensure students stay on task, and support teachers when they are absent or occupied.

The role runs the full school day, roughly 8:30am to 3:45pm, with flexible options and opportunities to build experience in the secondary sector. No formal qualifications are required, but an Enhanced DBS certificate and two references are needed.

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications required to become a Cover Supervisor.
• Must have Enhanced DBS certificate to work with children and two references from past two years.
• Experience working with young people is preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Cover classes in secondary schools and ensure students complete tasks.
• Maintain classroom management and support teachers during their absence or meetings.
• Be available for full school day from approximately 8:30am to 3:45pm.
