Disability North is seeking a Complex Needs Personal Assistant to support Isaac in Walker, Newcastle upon Tyne. This role requires providing personal care for a nonverbal child with complex medical needs, supervision at all times, and comfort with dogs. Training will be provided by the family or training providers.

Weekend work may be required and flexibility is essential. Hours include 8 hours per week term time and 27 hours per week during school holidays, with a rate of £16.00 per hour.

Competenze

• Experience in working with children with complex health needs.
• Comfortable around animals (family dogs).
• Full training will be provided by parents or training providers.

Mansioni

• Provide personal care including toileting and pad changing.
• Full supervision of Isaac at all times.
• Support Isaac’s activities in a safe, engaging environment.
