Job summary

Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Social Worker at Band 6 for the Adult Eating Disorder Service. The role involves managing liaison, discharge and step-downs from eating disorder units, with a fluctuating caseload and time-limited wellbeing interventions.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, provide assessments and supervision, and contribute to MDT processes, with travel across the county to community locations.

Qualifications

• Current professional registration – SW.
• Evidence of continued professional development.
• Extensive experience in Mental Health Services at secondary care / community level.
• Experience with complex clients.
• Experience in the field of eating disorders.
• Experience of group facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical advice and support to the administrative team.
• Supervise junior staff and provide monthly clinical supervision.
• Manage fluctuating caseload with bespoke, time-limited interventions.
• Work with partner agencies to ensure coordinated, person-centred care.
• Participate in MDT, safeguarding, risk management and discharge planning.
