Job summary

Royal Mail invites applications for a Collection and Network Driver role based at Chester Delivery Office. The position is permanent with 15 hours per week over Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 13:00–18:00, in a role that goes beyond driving to include mail collection and customer interaction.

You will need a full UK manual driving licence (≤6 penalty points) and be prepared to work outdoors in all weather. The job offers competitive hourly pay and benefits, with opportunities for progression

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Able to walk long periods outdoors in all weather.
• Friendly, proactive and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Deliver items on your route to customers and businesses on time.
• Collect mail from post boxes and business customers as scheduled.
• Visit post offices and sorting centres as required.
• Sort mailbags and ensure correct routing of items.
