Job summary
Driver Hire Ashford is seeking an experienced Coach Driver to support local clients in Ashford, Kent. This temporary, ongoing role offers flexible assignments, with a pay rate of £15.00–£16.81 per hour (PAYE) and weekly PAYE pay.
Responsibilities include safe operation of coach and passenger vehicles, delivering excellent customer service, and completing necessary paperwork. Requirements include Full Category D licence, CPC qualification, and Tachograph Card.
Qualifications
- Full Category D (Coach/Bus) licence.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous coach driving experience preferred.
- Customer-focused and professional attitude.
- Good understanding of driver hours and transport regulations.
- Flexible approach to different passenger transport work.
Responsibilities
- Transport passengers to planned destinations and routes.
- Carry out vehicle safety checks before and after shifts.
- Provide a high standard of customer service.
- Comply with road traffic legislation, driver hours and safety regulations.
- Complete all relevant paperwork and route information accurately.
