Job summary

Driver Hire Dartford is recruiting a Coach Driver (Category D) for trips and private hire across the UK. Based in Dartford, Kent, you’ll start immediately and enjoy consistent, ongoing work with flexible start times.

You’ll handle national day trips, customer service on board, vehicle checks and tachograph compliance, with weekly pay and a supportive agency network.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• Category D Licence essential.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Enhanced DBS issued within the last 12 months preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive Category D coaches nationally.
• Safely transport passengers and provide excellent customer service.
• Perform vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Ensure WTR & Tachograph compliance.
• Keep the vehicle clean and tidy.
• Deliver a high standard of passenger care.

We are recruiting Coach Drivers (Category D) for our client based in Dartford, Kent. Immediate starts and consistent work available.

The role involves national day trips and private hire across the UK, with early starts, evenings and weekend work available.

Position Details

• Start Date: Immediate
• Location: Dartford, Kent
• Work: National Day Trips & Private Hire
• Pay: From £16.30 per hour
• Schedule: Temporary / Permanent - Consistent Work

Duties

• Driving Category D coaches nationally
• Safely transporting passengers
• Completing vehicle checks and reporting defects
• WTR & Tachograph compliance
• Keeping the vehicle clean and tidy
• Providing excellent customer service

Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Category D Licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Enhanced DBS issued within the last 12 months
• Previous coach driving experience preferred
• Flexible and reliable approach to work
