Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking enthusiastic Classroom Support Assistants to help pupils thrive academically and emotionally in BS15-area schools. The role involves supporting EYFS to KS2, helping children build confidence and positive learning habits, and collaborating with teachers on engaging activities.

Experience in education, childcare, or related settings is valuable, with extra language skills for EAL support welcomed but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in education, childcare, youth work, tutoring, coaching, or care settings.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 within the classroom.
• Help children develop confidence, independence, and positive learning habits.
• Work alongside teachers to deliver engaging learning activities.
• Support pupils with SEND, SEMH needs, ADHD, and additional learning needs.
• Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
• Adapt your approach to meet the needs of individual learners.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
