Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is seeking Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in Barking & Dagenham. This role is flexible with full-time and part-time options, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm. You may not need previous school experience; eligibility includes working with children or young people.

You will manage classes, keep students on task and support teachers with provided work. DBS checks and safeguarding training are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in education is desirable.
• Ability to cover a variety of subjects.
• Good knowledge of the National Curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Manage a classroom and keep students on task.
• Support pupils with work set by the class teacher.
• Discuss student work and provide guidance as needed.
• Handle emergencies in the classroom.
