Job summary

Berry Recruitment Group is seeking a reliable Class 2 HGV Driver to provide ad-hoc holiday cover at a Darlington depot. The role offers early starts, Monday–Friday shifts, and weekly pay, with ad-hoc holiday assignments to fit around other commitments.

Ideal candidates will have a valid UK Class 2 licence, Driver CPC, and Tachograph card, plus a flexible, punctual approach to work and readiness for physical duties when required.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible with early starts.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle and deliver on scheduled routes.
• Assist with loading and unloading as required.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and complete daily checks.
• Provide a professional and courteous service to customers.
