Job summary

Chichester College Group is seeking an Associate Chef Lecturer on a flexible bank basis to teach across Brighton MET and Northbrook College Worthing campuses. Bring your professional kitchen experience to the classroom, delivering practical cookery sessions and inspiring students.

You'll design engaging lessons for Professional Cookery Level 1 & 2, support diverse learners, and collaborate with teams to refresh hospitality programmes.

Qualifications

• Deliver engaging teaching for Professional Cookery Level 1 & 2.
• Motivate and develop aspiring chefs, helping learners build technical skills and professionalism.
• Collaborate with colleagues and curriculum leaders to design and continuously enhance hospitality programmes.
• Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
• Share industry insights and enthusiasm for food to shape the future workforce.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons across Professional Cookery Level 1 & 2 at Brighton MET and Northbrook College Worthing.
• Plan, assess, and adapt teaching to different learning styles and abilities.
• Support safeguarding and inclusive learning practices within sessions.
• Collaborate with teams to refresh and improve hospitality and catering programs.
• Promote student engagement, confidence, and career readiness in hospitality.
