Job summary

Wellspring Academy Trust in Leeds area is seeking a reliable relief cleaner to join our friendly cleaning team. This casual, zero hours role covers academies in LS9, LS10, LS13, LS14, LS16 and LS20, with duties to keep classrooms, offices and washrooms clean and safe.

No experience or formal qualifications are required as full training is provided. Flexibility for different shifts, teamwork, and a commitment to a safe environment for pupils and staff are essential.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out everyday cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and emptying bins.
• Sanitising washrooms and keeping hygiene supplies fully stocked.
• Using cleaning equipment and products safely (training provided on Health & Safety and COSHH).
• Carrying out occasional deep cleans during school holiday periods.
• Helping lock or unlock the site and keeping the school premises secure.
