Job summary

Holy Trinity Church of England School in Crawley is seeking dedicated Casual Learning Support Assistants to join our pastoral, SEN and inclusion provision. You will work with students, staff and families to ensure learners access education successfully and confidently.

This role offers flexible, as-needed hours ideal for balancing commitments. A GCSE in English and Maths and experience with children are desirable; you will support learning, behaviour, and wellbeing in a dynamic secondary school.

Qualifications

• GCSE level (or equivalent) including English and Maths.
• Experience with children or young people in education or community settings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build positive professional relationships with students.
• Commitment to inclusion, safeguarding and student wellbeing.
• Flexible and proactive approach to supporting students' needs.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Understanding and commitment to the school's Christian ethos.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted support to students, including those with special educational needs.
• Encourage students to develop confidence, resilience and independence whilst maintaining high expectations for achievement and behaviour.
• Support teaching and learning activities and provide feedback to students under the guidance of the class teacher.
