Ashberry Recruitment is seeking adaptable Residential Support Workers to assist young people in care homes across Wigan and surrounding areas. The role involves working on casual, ad-hoc and temporary bases to support young people residing in the care system.

Candidates with experience in children's homes or leaving care environments are preferred. An NVQ3 Residential Child Care qualification is advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in children's homes or leaving care settings is preferred.
• NVQ3 Residential Child Care qualification is advantageous but not essential.
• Excellent reliability and ability to cover shifts at short notice, including weekends.

Responsabilités

• Provide residential support to young people in care settings.
• Cover shifts across 7 days, including days, evenings, nights and sleeps.
• Adhere to safeguarding policies and DBS checks as part of safer recruitment.
