Job summary

Medical Update Online in Peterhead is seeking a Support Worker to provide person-centred care across multiple services. You will work flexible shifts, drawing on your UK care experience to support adults while developing your skills in a supportive environment.

The role is based in Peterhead, Aberdeenshire and surrounding areas, with opportunities to access training, progress within the organisation, and join a team that values dignity and wellbeing in every interaction.

Qualifications

Minimum 6 months' experience in a UK care sector role.
Current SSSC registration.
Professional references covering at least the last 3 years of recent employment.

Responsibilities

Delivering personal care and practical support in line with individual care plans.
Promoting dignity, choice, independence, and wellbeing for the people you support.
Assisting with daily living tasks such as meals, mobility, and social activities.
Following safeguarding, health and safety, and infection control procedures.
Keeping clear, accurate records and reporting any concerns promptly.
Working effectively with permanent staff and other agency workers on shift.
