Job summary

Wiltshire Council is seeking a casual relief bank support worker to assist adults with learning disabilities at Meadow Lodge and Riverbank in Chippenham. You will help with personal care, daily living tasks, and participate in meaningful activities within both services and the local community.

The role offers flexible, as-needed hours with enhanced annual leave compensation and requires a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. No fixed hours and the council may not offer work at times.

Qualifications

• Support customers with personal care and daily living tasks
• Help plan and take part in meaningful activities
• Provide emotional and practical support when needed
• Assist with household tasks and basic financial responsibilities
• Work flexibly across day and respite services, including evenings, weekends, sleep‑ins and waking nights
• Support customers in their homes or within the service settings

• Help customers to live with dignity, choice and independence across Riverbank and Meadow Lodge

• Ensure daily living tasks and personal care are carried out safely and respectfully
