Job summary

CNWL NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a CAMHS Practitioner to support CYP within the Youth Justice Service. The role involves coordinating care across CAMHS and YJS, providing direct mental health interventions and collaborating with local agencies to improve outcomes for young people and families.

The post is based in KC CAMHS/YJS with supervision support from both services. You are expected to work at least 80% across KC CAMHS or the Youth Justice Service, joining an established, supportive

Qualifications

• Postgraduate level professional health or social care qualification.
• Hold current registration with a regulated professional body (e.g. HCP, NMC).
• Experience in CYPS/CAMHS setting preferred.
• Post-qualification training in teaching & supervision is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Jointly maintain a collaborative relationship with YJS colleagues and manage service delivery expectations.
• Lead in working with local agencies, private and voluntary sectors.
• Provide assessment, early intervention and referral across health services for CYP in youth justice.
