Job summary

TURNERFOX RECRUITMENT is seeking an experienced bookkeeper for a friendly accountancy practice in Mansfield. The role covers day-to-day bookkeeping, VAT and CIS returns, with flexibility for full-time or three days per week and an office-based setup.

You will manage records, ensure deadlines are met, and liaise with clients using Xero, Sage or QuickBooks and strong Excel skills. Attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience bookkeeping for an accountancy practice.
• Experience preparing VAT returns.
• Knowledge of CIS returns and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• General bookkeeping for a range of clients.
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns.
• Preparation and submission of CIS returns.
• Maintaining accurate financial records.
• Processing and reconciling financial information.
• Using Xero, Sage and QuickBooks; working with Excel.
