Job summary

CareTech is recruiting Bank Support Workers to provide flexible, person-centred care across Oxford and surrounding areas. You will cover leave, sickness, vacancies, and peak demand, with a focus on empowering independence and life skills for adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs.

No two days are the same, but every day is rewarding. You will work across multiple services, with flexible hours including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins when required.

Qualifications

• Caring, compassionate and respectful demeanor.
• Reliability and flexibility in shifts across multiple services.
• Good communication and basic IT skills.
• Willingness to work towards Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred support in line with individual plans.
• Promote independence and wellbeing.
• Assist with daily living activities and personal care when required.
• Help with medication administration after training.
• Support access to community activities and appointments.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team and cover shifts in Oxford area.
• Flexibility for evenings, weekends, bank holidays, nights and sleep-ins.
