Lifeways is recruiting Bank Sessional Support Workers in Walsall to provide flexible cover across our services for adults with learning disabilities and autism. You’ll promote independence, offer practical and emotional support, and help people access their local communities with compassion and respect.

We welcome applicants from all backgrounds; no previous care experience is required. This role offers flexible hours, a supportive team, and training with opportunities to develop in the care

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; looking for caring, dependable and flexible people.
• Willing to work varied shifts and weekends as needed.
• Committed to helping adults live independently with dignity.

Responsibilities

• Provide flexible cover across Lifeways services.
• Support people with daily routines and personal care where required.
• Encourage independence, confidence and community involvement.
• Offer practical and emotional support to individuals.
• Assist with moving and handling needs after full training.
• Help people access local activities and hobbies.
