The Alexandra Hospital in Cheadle, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking a Registered Nurse (Adult) for bank shifts. The role offers an hourly rate up to £23.50, with responsibilities covering direct patient care, care planning, and documentation within a multidisciplinary team.

Applicants should hold a valid NMC registration and have clinical experience. The position supports flexible staffing to cover busy periods and staff absences.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.
• Experience in a clinical healthcare setting.
• Good understanding of clinical governance and patient safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficient in IT systems used for patient records and care planning.
• Previous A&E or Walk-In Centre experience desirable.

Responsabilités

• Deliver direct nursing care in line with patient care plans and clinical protocols.
• Assess patient needs, prioritise care, and update care plans accordingly.
• Monitor vital signs, recognise changes in condition, and escalate appropriately.
• Administer medications safely and in accordance with hospital policies and the NMC Code.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation, including assessments and care plans.
• Ensure care complies with NMC standards, governance requirements, and hospital policies.
• Identify and report incidents and safeguarding concerns in line with procedures.
