Job summary

The Alexandra Hospital in Cheadle, part of Circle Health Group, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Outpatients department on a bank basis. You will supplement staffing during busy periods and cover for annual leave, delivering care per patient plans and NHS/NMC guidelines.

Applicants should be a Registered Nurse (Adult) with NMC registration and good communication skills, with experience in clinical settings and IT systems for patient records. Outpatient/orthopaedics experience desirable.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.
• Experience in clinical healthcare settings.
• Strong knowledge of governance and patient safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficient in IT systems for patient records.
• Experience in outpatient/orthopaedics desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care per plans and protocols.
• Assess needs, prioritise care, and update plans.
• Monitor vital signs and escalate as needed.
• Administer medications per hospital policies and NMC.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation.
• Ensure compliance with governance and hospital policies.
• Identify and report incidents and safeguarding concerns.
