Job summary

The Alexandra Hospital in Cheadle, part of Circle Health Group, is recruiting a Registered Nurse to join the Cath Lab team on a bank basis. This role covers all cardiac and vascular work and requires flexibility to cover busy periods and staff absences.

You will provide direct nursing care, follow care plans, monitor patients, administer medications, document care, and uphold NMC standards. The role offers hourly pay up to £32 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.
• Demonstrable experience working in a clinical healthcare setting.
• Good understanding of clinical governance, patient safety, and evidence-based practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficient in IT systems used for patient records, documentation, and care planning.
• Previous experience in a relevant specialty desirable (e.g., surgical, medical, outpatient, orthopaedics, critical care).

Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs, recognise changes in condition, and upscale properly using clinical judgement.

• Maintain accurate, legible, and timely nursing documentation, including assessments, care plans, and observations.
• Ensure that all care provided complies with NMC standards, clinical governance requirements, and hospital policies.
• Identify and report incidents, safeguarding concerns, and potential risks in line with hospital procedures.

The Alexandra Hospital Bank Shifts Salary: Up to £32.00 per hour (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

The Alexandra Hospital in Cheadle Is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join their team of staff in the Cath Lab department. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a thriving independent sector Cardiac Catheter lab, covering all elements of Cardiac and Vascular work.

This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

Duties of this role include:
