Job summary

Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust seeks qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners for flexible bank work across the county. The role supports waiting time reduction and delivers high-quality, person-centred mental health care in a collaborative team setting.

PWPs will provide LI therapies primarily by telephone and in groups, with some face-to-face work, supported by supervision, CPD opportunities and an induction programme. Sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree standard in Psychology or health related field.
• PWP Certificate in Low Intensity Interventions.
• Current UK professional registration (BABCP/BPS).
• Experience delivering evidence-based low intensity interventions.

Responsibilities

• Accept referrals and assess self-management needs.
• Deliver low-intensity treatments mainly via telephone and groups; some face-to-face work.
• Conduct patient-centred interviews and assess risk.
• Refer or escalate referrals according to protocols and capacity.
• Provide information and support for high-volume low-intensity therapies.
