Job summary

Riseley Green School is seeking a dedicated Bank SEN Teacher to support autistic and SEND learners across primary ages. You will join our specialist team on an as-needed basis, delivering engaging lessons and adapting approaches to individual needs.

This flexible role offers a cooperative, supportive environment with small class sizes and collaboration with teaching assistants, therapists and other professionals to maximise student confidence and progress.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience teaching Primary education and/or EYFS.
• Ability to adapt the Primary curriculum for different learning needs.
• Creative and flexible approach to teaching.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons aligned to the Primary curriculum.
• Adapt activities to meet a range of Special Educational Needs.
• Create a safe, structured learning environment where students thrive.
• Support students' academic, social and emotional development.
• Collaborate with Teaching Assistants, therapists and professionals.
• Monitor progress and provide targeted feedback.
