You will conduct POA for a caseload, taking targeted histories and assessing past medical, operative and anaesthetic history, while delivering safe, patient-centered care. NMC registered with strong assessment and communication skills is essential; bank roles offer weekly pay and pension access.

Qualifications

• NMC-registered nurse with pin valid and unrestricted.
• 2 years POA experience desirable but not essential.
• Demonstrates compassion with excellent patient care.
• Strong assessment skills and clear communication required.
• Computer literacy and efficient workload management expected.

Responsibilities

• Support development of the POA service to ensure safe, effective pre-operative care.
• Autonomously complete POA for a caseload with targeted history and risk assessment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to optimise patient pathways.
