Job summary

IC24 is seeking a Bank Practice Nurse for our Primary Care team at Herstmonceux Integrative Health Centre. You will provide evidence‑based nursing care across clinics, support patients with acute needs and prevention, and help manage long‑term conditions within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

You will deliver immunisations, health promotion and clinical procedures, while maintaining records and contributing to continuous improvement in patient care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Experience working in General Practice/Primary Care.
• Experience delivering immunisations and health promotion.
• Ability to work autonomously and seek support when needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient-centred approach and relation-building with patients.
• Works well in a multidisciplinary team and follows policies.
• Committed to continuous professional development and evidence‑based practice.

Responsibilities

• Delivering high‑quality nursing care across clinics for acute needs, routine treatments and prevention.
• Managing long‑term conditions with reviews, monitoring and self‑management support.
• Delivering NHS Health Checks, cervical screening, smoking cessation and health education.
• Administering adult and childhood immunisations and travel health advice; vaccine management.
• Wound care including phlebotomy, ECGs, BP and spirometry, maintaining infection prevention standards.
• Collaborating with GPs, nurses, HCAs and wider team for coordinated care and referrals.
• Maintaining accurate clinical records and contributing to quality improvement processes.
