IC24 is seeking a Bank Practice Nurse for our Primary Care team at Herstmonceux Integrative Health Centre. You will provide evidence‑based nursing care across clinics, support patients with acute needs and prevention, and help manage long‑term conditions within a supportive multidisciplinary team.
You will deliver immunisations, health promotion and clinical procedures, while maintaining records and contributing to continuous improvement in patient care.
Primary care nursing is where clinical expertise, prevention and continuity of care come together. It is where you build lasting relationships with patients, support healthier lives through education and early intervention, and make a real difference across every stage of life. From immunisations and long‑term condition management to health promotion and wound care, you’ll use your broad clinical skills to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centred care within a supportive multidisciplinary team.
At IC24, we’re looking for Bank Practice Nurses to join our Primary Care team at Herstmonceux Integrative Health Centre. This flexible bank opportunity allows you to use your experience across a wide range of nursing responsibilities while working alongside an experienced team committed to delivering exceptional care to the local community.
As part of our integrated primary care service, you’ll help patients access the right care at the right time, supporting preventative healthcare, improving long‑term outcomes and contributing to the ongoing development of our practice.
You’ll provide safe, evidence‑based nursing care across a variety of clinics, supporting patients with acute needs, routine treatments and preventative healthcare throughout their lives.
You’ll support patients living with chronic conditions including asthma, COPD and diabetes, delivering reviews, monitoring treatment plans and promoting self‑management to improve health outcomes.
You’ll carry out NHS Health Checks, cervical screening, smoking cessation support and health education, empowering patients to make informed decisions about their wellbeing.
You’ll administer adult and childhood immunisations, provide travel health advice and vaccinations, and ensure safe vaccine management in line with national guidance and Patient Group Directions.
You’ll deliver high‑quality wound assessment and management, undertake phlebotomy, ECGs, blood pressure monitoring, spirometry and other clinical procedures while maintaining excellent infection prevention standards.
You’ll work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, healthcare assistants and the wider practice team, ensuring patients receive coordinated, person‑centred care and appropriate onward referrals when required.
You’ll maintain accurate clinical records, support audit activity, contribute to practice protocols and help improve services through evidence‑based practice and continuous professional development.
We recognise that flexibility matters. As a Bank Practice Nurse, you’ll have the freedom to choose shifts that work around your existing commitments while remaining part of a supportive and experienced clinical team. Whether you’re looking to supplement your current role, maintain a portfolio career or enjoy greater flexibility, bank working allows you to fit work around your lifestyle.
