Nuffield Health Glasgow Hospital is seeking a reliable Bank Porter (Maintenance) to support the smooth running of the hospital. The role is ad hoc, with flexible availability Monday to Friday and optional weekend work, on rotational early/late shifts.

Full UK driving licence required and DBS checks expected. The position involves logistics across departments, waste handling, setting up rooms, grounds maintenance, and courier duties.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collection and disposal of waste, laundry, and clinical waste in line with hospital procedures.
• Setting up conference rooms and supporting office moves.
• Maintaining hospital grounds and outdoor areas.
• Cleaning and preparing designated areas.
• Providing courier services and transporting specimens when required.
• Carrying out parking patrols as directed.
• Delivering and collecting medical devices across the Central Belt of Scotland.
• Supporting the Housekeeping team with key operational tasks.
• Assisting with stock management.
• Adhering to data protection, health & safety, and security policies at all times.
