Job summary

Independent Lives in Eastbourne is seeking Bank Personal Assistants to cover sickness and holidays, supporting a person and their dog Cooper. The role includes domestic, social, practical and community tasks, medication routines, shopping, cooking, cleaning, and occasional transport to appointments.

Qualifications

• All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
• Willing to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check if required.
• Role may be offered on employed or self-employed basis; if employed, holiday pay and contract.
• DBS check may be required by the employer.

Responsibilities

• Support a single individual with domestic, social, practical and community tasks.
• Assist with medication routines and ordering medications.
• Shop for food, prepare meals, do laundry, and keep the home clean and tidy.
• Carry out basic garden maintenance and help understand/manage finances.
