Job summary

Acorn Early Years is seeking a Bank Nursery Assistant to join our nursery in Sharnbrook. Hours are flexible and you will contribute to a holistic curriculum while ensuring the wellbeing and care needs of each child are met. A good understanding of EYFS and safeguarding is required, with a DBS check expected.

Applicants must have right to work in the UK; duties include supporting staff, maintaining a safe environment, and implementing Acorn’s ethos and policies in daily practice.

Qualifications

• A good working knowledge and practice of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures
• Understanding of Acorn’s ethos, values, policies and procedures
• Ability to assist in smooth day-to-day running of the group
• Ability to work as part of a team and adapt responsibilities as required
• Strong commitment to safeguarding and child welfare

Responsibilities
