Job summary

ICare Group in Helsby and Runcorn is seeking Bank Home Care Assistants to support people in their own homes on a flexible bank basis. Shifts span Thursday to Sunday, with drivers preferred for community-based care and mileage between visits.

The role offers training, ongoing support and development opportunities, plus a salary aligned to hourly rates of £13.45–£13.70 and a focus on independent living and dignity.

Qualifications

• UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
• Right to work in the UK
• Willingness to obtain Class 1 Business Insurance

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care with dignity and respect
• Assist with washing, dressing and daily routines
• Help with meal preparation and nutrition
• Provide medication prompts in line with care plans
• Conduct wellbeing and safety checks
• Support light household tasks and maintain a comfortable home
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Build positive, professional relationships with those supported
• Promote independence and person-centred care
• Work as part of a supportive care team
