Job summary

InHealth Group is seeking a bank cardiac physiologist to join its echo team across London clinics on a full-time basis. The post involves performing and independently reporting adult transthoracic echocardiograms, with equipment checks and archiving, and handling urgent referrals.

The role requires BSE accreditation in echocardiography or equivalent, plus experience in adult echocardiography. You will support scheduling, maintain records, and contribute to audits and junior staff training.

Qualifications

• BSE accreditation in echocardiography or equivalent.
• Experience in adult echocardiography.
• Bank cardiac physiologist role requires flexibility and clinic-site coverage.

Responsibilities

• Perform and independently report adult transthoracic echocardiograms to BSE standards.
• Submit reports and archive study images per SOPs.
• Ensure echo equipment is maintained and quality checked.
• Liaise with GPs and hospital departments for urgent referrals.
• Support patient scheduling and keep system records accurate.
• Support daily audit and training of junior team members.
• Escalate reporting delays to line manager and clinical lead.
• Comply with health and safety, information governance, and confidentiality.
• Keep up with clinical developments and participate in training.
