Job summary

Circle Health Group is seeking a Cardiac Physiologist on a bank basis at Hendon Hospital in London. The role covers a broad range of non-invasive cardiac investigations and echocardiography with on-call flexibility to support busy periods and staff absences.

Applicants should hold a degree in clinical physiology or equivalent with echocardiography accreditation and experience in ECG, Holter, and functional testing. Excellent patient care and independent echo capability are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Clinical physiology or equivalent / ONC / BTEC in physiological measurement and medical physics.
• Device or Echocardiography accreditation (BHRS/BHRE/BSE).
• Must be able to independently undertake echocardiograms.
• Experience of customer care, including interacting with customers in challenging situations.
• Current knowledge of a range of clinical specialties and developments in clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret non-invasive cardiac investigations including resting ECGs, Holter monitoring and blood pressure monitoring.
• Carry out and report on exercise tolerance tests (ETTs) and tilt table testing.
• Undertake and interpret echocardiograms (transthoracic, transoesophageal, and stress echo if trained).
• Assist in cardiac catheterisation procedures, including angiograms and angioplasties.
• Monitor and record intracardiac pressures and waveforms during procedures.
• Provide technical support during pacemaker, ICD, and CRT implantations.
• Conduct pacemaker, ICD, and CRT device checks and follow-ups in accordance with guidelines.
• Analyse device data and provide expert interpretation to guide clinical decisions.
