The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Early Years practitioner to support the care and development of children at First Steps Nursery in Exeter. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate activities to help children achieve the best outcomes and provide feedback to parents.

You will model best practices in a busy environment, balancing child- and adult-led learning while following safeguarding policies and engaging with safeguarding services as required.

Competenze

• National Diploma in Early Years Childcare or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements.
• Band 2 candidates who can work towards Band 3 will be considered.

Mansioni

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care and development for children in First Steps Nursery.
• Provide feedback to parents/carers to support best outcomes.
• Be a positive role model during child- and adult-led learning.
• Adhere to safeguarding policies and work with specialist safeguarding services when needed.
