Job summary

The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a bank Early Years Assistant to support our Ofsted outstanding First Steps Nursery in Exeter. You will help with delivery of high-quality care and education, modelling positive interaction and promoting exploration.

Your day includes assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating children's care and development, with feedback to parents. Band 2/3 staff welcome; experience with EYFS preferred; shifts 08:00-18:00, Mon to Fri.

Qualifications

• National Diploma in Early Years Childcare or equivalent.
• Good people skills and knowledge of the EYFS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the care and development of the children in First Steps Nursery.
• Provide feedback to parents/carers.
