Barchester Healthcare is seeking a passionate Bank Chef to support our care homes with fresh seasonal menus and resident-focused dining. This casual, part-time role offers flexible hours and a chance to balance work with life while upholding hotel/restaurant standards.

You will assist the Head Chef, manage stock and audits, and help lead a team to deliver nutritious, tasty dishes. We value warmth, quality, and a commitment to HACCP principles in a supportive environment.

Formación

• Personable and warm approach focused on resident wellbeing.
• Hold City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent.
• Experience leading a team and understanding HACCP.
• Experience working with fresh seasonal food.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Head Chef in the Head Chef's absence.
• Prepare and deliver high-quality dishes using fresh produce.
• Create a warm, efficient and welcoming kitchen environment.
• Work within kitchen budget and controls.
• Complete regular audits and manage stock control.
• Lead and motivate kitchen staff.
