Job summary

IOS Care are seeking compassionate Agency Care Assistants to support nursing and residential homes across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. This flexible agency role offers day and night shifts, with locations in Cardiff & Vale of Glamorgan.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' experience as a Care Assistant (UK-based preferred)
• A caring, patient and professional approach
• Ability to work in nursing and residential care settings
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
• Up-to-date mandatory training (or willingness to complete)
• Right to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting
• Supporting residents with mobility and daily living activities
• Promoting dignity, independence and emotional wellbeing
• Assisting with meals and hydration
• Accurately recording care provided and reporting concerns
• Working in line with care plans, safeguarding policies and CIW standards
