Job summary

Locum Ready in Dukinfield is seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to support regional community health and primary care services on a flexible sessional basis. The post focuses on autonomous clinical assessment, urgent care support and collaboration with established clinical teams.

You will deliver ACP-led sessions, manage acute presentations, and triage urgent patient demand both by phone and in person.

Qualifications

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification (Level 7)
• Clinical background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, AHP or similar
• Independent Prescribing (V300) desirable
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community health services
• Ability to work independently in varied clinical environments
• Enhanced DBS

Responsibilities

• Delivering ACP-led sessions within community and primary care settings
• Managing acute, undifferentiated and minor illness presentations
• Supporting urgent patient demand through triage (telephone or face-to-face)
• Prescribing safely within scope of competence
• Managing clinical actions including results, medication reviews and follow-up tasks
• Recording accurate and clear digital documentation
