Job summary

Academics Ltd is seeking an Ad-hoc Learning Support Assistant to work across a range of primary schools in Barry, Penarth, Dinas Powys, Cowbridge and Rhoose. This flexible, ad-hoc role lets you choose days and hours that fit your lifestyle while making a positive impact in the classroom.

You will support pupils across EYFS to KS2, work with class teachers, assist children one-to-one or in small groups, and help create a welcoming learning environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience working in Primary Schools.
• Active EWC registration required.
• Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
• Ability to travel to multiple schools in Barry and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 within Primary Schools.
• Collaborate with class teachers to provide engaging learning support.
• Assist children on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
• Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
