Job summary

Avante Care & Support in Canterbury is seeking an Activities Coordinator to create and run a varied programme for residents at Chaucer House. You will plan, lead, and adapt activities such as music, movement, games, gardening, and outings to keep residents socially connected and physically active.

The role is full-time (35 hours per week) with an hourly rate of £13.00, offering flexible patterns and DBS/fleet of training. Previous care experience is preferred, with NVQ2 desirable.

Qualifications

• Caring, energetic, and creative individuals are sought.
• Experience in recreational activities (care settings preferred).
• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is desirable.
