Job summary

Avante Care & Support Ltd. is seeking an Activities Coordinator for Chaucer House in Canterbury. This full-time role offers a 35-hour week with alternative weekends, and a pay rate of £13.00 per hour.

You will plan, develop and deliver a varied programme of activities to keep residents engaged and connected. You will work with a friendly team to organise music, movement, games, gardening and occasional community outings, helping residents stay active and maintain quality of life.

Qualifications

• Caring, energetic and creative individuals are sought.
• Experience in recreational activities, preferably in a care setting.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a diverse range of activities to keep residents active, connected and engaged daily.
• Collaborate with the Chaucer House team to organise outings and in-house sessions.
