Job summary

Avante Care & Support Ltd. in Bridge Haven, Canterbury, Kent seeks an Activities & Wellbeing Coordinator to design and deliver engaging activities for residents, promoting independence and community involvement.

You will run events, support 1:1 activities, supervise transport when needed, and collaborate with families and volunteers; a DBS check is required and flexible weekends.

As our Activities Coordinator, you’ll bring energy, fun, and inspiration to residents’ lives through creative, personalised activities. From social events and cultural programmes to 1:1 support and outings, you’ll help residents stay active , engaged, and happy .

What You’ll Be Doing

• Creating meaningful experiences that promote independence and wellbeing
• Stimulating body and mind through planned and spontaneous activities
• Supporting residents to remain active in the community
• Collaborating with colleagues, families, and volunteers
• Driving the Avante minibus for outings (if needed)
• Coordinating group and 1:1 activities tailored to individual interests
• Ensure high standards of care in line with Avante’s Eden Alternative Philosophy
