Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking PGCE-qualified tutors to support children and young people across Hampshire through personalised 1:1 tuition. Working on behalf of Local Authorities, you will deliver tailored learning for learners from primary through to post-16, including those with SEND or additional needs.

This role offers flexible hours and the chance to make a meaningful difference in vulnerable learners while applying your teaching skills in a personalised setting.

Qualifications

• PGCE qualification required.
• Minimum 6 months' experience in an educational setting, including teaching, tutoring, teaching assistant, mentoring, learning support, or similar roles.
• Ability to deliver engaging and personalised learning sessions.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience supporting learners with SEND, EHCPs, or additional needs is desirable.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Driver preferred; alternatively, willingness to travel locally across Hampshire.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored 1:1 tuition across Hampshire.
• Support learners with ASD, SEMH, ADHD, anxiety, and EHCPs.
• Deliver flexible, personalised learning sessions.
• Work with Local Authorities.
