Job summary

Tennial Personnel Ltd in Ipswich is seeking a reliable Flexi Forklift Driver for a busy dry food production site. Responsibilities

• Operate a Flexi forklift safely to move, load, unload and position pallets and stock.

Job description

Tennial Personnel are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Flexi Forklift Driver to join our client’s team at an established dry food production company based in Ipswich. This position is offered on a temporary-to-permanent basis, with the opportunity to become permanent following 12 successful working weeks, subject to business requirements. The role operates Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern, alternating between an early shift of 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM and a late shift of 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

The role will involve operating a Flexi forklift within a busy warehouse and food production environment, supporting the efficient movement, storage and distribution of stock. Duties will include loading and unloading deliveries, moving pallets, replenishing stock locations and ensuring goods are stored safely and accurately. The position will also involve general warehouse duties and labouring to support the wider team and maintain smooth day-to-day operations.

The successful candidate will have previous experience operating a Flexi forklift, a good understanding of warehouse procedures and a strong commitment to health and safety. Candidates must be comfortable undertaking a combination of forklift driving and hands-on warehouse duties, including manual handling and working on their feet for extended periods. Due to the products handled on site, applicants must not have allergies to nuts or seeds.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications Required

• A valid Flexi forklift licence or relevant recognised training is required.
