Arnold Clark Group in Inverness is seeking a Fleet Wash Valeter to ensure vehicles are presented to a high standard and make a positive first impression for customers. The role involves travel to sites across the week and working in a fast-paced environment alongside a collaborative team.

The ideal candidate will have a driving licence, be able to pass a driving assessment, and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail while following health and safety procedures. PPE use is required.

Responsibilities

• Clean stock vehicles to a high standard.

• Maintain and secure equipment and machinery, report defects.
• Work to set timeframes and targets.

We’re looking to recruit a Fleet Wash Valeter to join our Hyundai/OMODA/JAECOO branch in Inverness.

Hours

Monday - Thursday8am – 5.30pm and Friday8am – 4.30pm

About the role

As a Fleet Wash Valeter you will play a big role in ensuring our customers receive a positive first impression of the vehicles we have to offer. You will travel to various sites throughout the week and will be responsible for ensuring that our vehicles are clean, well-presented and appealing to the customer.

This position will be a perfect fit for someone who enjoys working in an active, physical role, has meticulous attention to detail and is a fantastic team player.

Day-to-day duties

• Cleaning stock vehicles to a high standard
• Cleaning vehicles externally with a high-powered pressure washer
• Complying with health and safety procedures while working with chemicals
• Making sure that all equipment and machinery is properly maintained and secure at all times, reporting any defects and complying with manufacturers’ instructions and PPE recommendations
• Working to set timeframes and targets
