Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Carlisle is recruiting a Level 3 Vehicle Technician on a permanent contract. You will work in a modern workshop, performing inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs across a range of vehicles and trailers.

You'll need a Level 3 qualification, your own toolkit, and a full UK driving licence (HGV/trailer experience preferred). The role features a 39.5-hour week, overtime opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Qualified mechanic to Level 3 or equivalent.
• Own toolkit for standard repairs.
• Full UK manual driving licence (preferably HGV with trailer).

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on vehicles, trailers and equipment.
• Use personal toolkit for routine maintenance and repair work.
• Access specialist tooling and shared equipment in the modern workshop.
