Job summary

Focus Resourcing represents a client in the UK seeking an experienced HGV/LCV/car Technician for their modern workshop. The role covers repair and maintenance of a fleet including HGVs, LCVs, and company cars. Training is provided where needed, and there is a supportive team environment.

The candidate will perform inspections, diagnostics, and servicing to high standards while ensuring compliance and accurate documentation. An enabling, hands-on position in a well-equipped facility awaits.

Qualifications

• Must have City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in heavy vehicle service, maintenance and repair.
• 2 years' post-qualification HGV mechanic experience.
• HGV class 2 licence required.
• PMI and brake tests qualifications
• MOT preparation experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles for safety and defects.
• Fault finding, repairs and servicing of commercial vehicles and trailers.
• Service vehicles to manufacturing standards.
• PMI and brake testing for trucks.
• Weighing and LOLER testing for tall lift vehicles.
• Complete paperwork accurately for compliance.
• Use diagnostic equipment effectively.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines.
