Job summary

Severn Trent is hiring a Fleet Technician at Staverton, Gloucester. You will service, maintain and repair a variety of vehicles, including HGVs, ensuring compliance with company and manufacturer standards. You’ll respond to scheduled and unplanned maintenance, and keep precise records in our fleet system.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, an apprenticeship or LVQ in vehicle maintenance, and an HGV service qualification. A rewarding career path and ongoing training await you.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

We're looking for a skilled Fleet Technician with HGV experience to join our team at Staverton in Gloucester.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and thrives on keeping vehicles in top condition. Plus, you'll get a great work-life balance, as you'll work a -hour week (between :am and :pm), Monday to Friday. Overtime is available but completely optional - and of course, we'll reward you for any extra hours. What you'll be doing:

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs across a wide range of vehicles and plant, following Severn Trent and manufacturer standards
• Responding to unplanned maintenance and emergency call-outs
• Preparing vehicles for annual testing and keeping accurate records in our fleet management system

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE ROLE

• A full UK manual driving licence - driving is a key part of the role
• A recognised apprenticeship or a Level qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• A Level qualification in HGV Service & Maintenance is essential
